Jon Hopkins is the Chief Investigator of Hopkins & Associates. Jon began his investigative career as a detective with the White County sheriff's Department in Searcy, Arkansas. He went on to work with the State of Arkansas conducting undercover operations with the special operations unit. Jon is a certified law enforcement officer and instructor.

Jon departed law enforcement to pursue a career in the private practice of investigations. Jon has been licensed to conduct investigations in the state of Arkansas since September of 2001. Jon is also licensed in Tennessee and Kentucky and has conducted investigations in Missouri and Mississippi which have no statewide licensing requirement. 

Jon instructs attorneys, legal professionals and professional investigators on the subjects of interview and interrogation, skip tracing and other investigative techniques. His investigative techniques have been highlighted on nationally aired television shows. Jon continually looks for new ways to provide a better work product to his clients and is committed to quality investigations that benefit the client and those representing the client. Jon demands a full accounting of his associates of all costs and time spent on the investigation to ensure that those being represented are treated fairly and competently. Jon works with the nation's premier law firms to defend the rights of everyday Americans. Jon is a member of the National Association of Investigative Specialist, The National Council of Investigative and Security Specialist, Investigators of America, Arkansas Advocates for Nursing Home Residents and the Tennessee Association of Investigators. Jon is a CASA volunteer who conducts investigations into child abuse and neglect.
