A family's complaint of their loved one being left unattended and not properly cared for while in the care of a nursing home facility. Hopkins & Associates investigators were able to locate former employees of the facility and substantiate the complaint which resulted in a 5 million dollar settlement. An apartment complex negligently hired and supervised a three time convicted felon to maintain the apartments. After one of the tenants was murdered and the maintenance man was convicted in criminal court, Hopkins and Associates located former tenants who had been harassed and violated by this criminal. The apartment complex settled with the deceased tenant's family. Hopkins & Associates was requested to conduct an investigation into the suspicious death of a family's grandfather. Supposedly the morning of his passing by a single gunshot wound, only he and his new wife were at the residence. Hopkins & Associates was able to reveal a twelve hour window of opportunity when the wife would receive a large sum of money if the family's grandfather "committed suicide." This evidence along with the discovery of a lengthy violent criminal history of the wife and DNA evidence resulted in the jury finding the wife liable for the wrongful death of the family's loved one and a 1.25 million dollar verdict. A young woman had recently met, who she thought, was "Mr. Right". After spending some time with "Mr. Right" she started noticing that some of his stories did not fit together. She needed to know for her piece of mind if her intuition was correct before taking the next step. Hopkins & Associates investigators were able to determine that her "Mr. Right" had been using a false identity for very wrong reasons. She is still on the market. A duck hunter leased a farmer's field to duck hunt. According to the lease agreement, the farmer was to maintain water in the field throughout the season. He didn't and the hunter received judgment against the farmer. After many attempts, the hunter was unsuccessful in collecting the money owed to him. Hopkins & Associates investigators were able to locate tangible assets resulting in the hunter receiving his money. A carnival worker was driving while intoxicated in a company vehicle. He drove left of center and killed an innocent person and then left the scene of the accident. Hopkins & Associates tracked the driver of the vehicle at fault and provided information to local law enforcement authorities of his location. He was arrested at this location and is now facing charges of vehicular homicide.
